Updated Band Calendar

Hello River Hill Band Families!

What a great couple of weeks we've had. The Friday Night Live Ensemble sounds fabulous, and Band students are doing great work in their individual classes as well. I am enjoying every second, and I hope that you are too!

Attached is an updated version of our Band calendar. There are no real changes - only clarifications, so there should not be any new conflicts related to this information. You will see specific times listed for the following rehearsals: 10/26, 12/14, 12/21, 3/9, 3/15, 4/19, and 4/26. These rehearsal times reflect requests made by Band students based on their other scheduled activities and I am happy to say that I was able to accommodate almost every one of those requests. One important time to note is the Wind Ensemble rehearsal on March 15th. I know that 7:00 is not the favorite time for some of you, but I was able to get Dr. Parker from the Peabody Conservatory of Music to come work with us that evening in preparation for our County Assessment performance, and that will undoubtedly be a fantastic experience for us. Thank you for your understanding.

The other addition to the list is the aforementioned SPRING TRIP (April 7-9), and I will be sending additional information about that within a couple of days.

Students will receive a hard copy of the schedule (on blue paper this time) at their next rehearsal.
