Future Hawks!!!

Dear Future Hawks!

I am thrilled to know that you would like to participate in “Future Hawks Night” with the River Hill Friday Night Live Ensemble! Please remember that we are meeting at 4:45 on Friday, October 14th in the main lobby of the school. Be sure to bring warm clothes to wear under your Future Hawks t-shirt. Pick-up will be in front of the school at 9:45.

Now it’s time to download your music for our fight song, “Go Hawks Go!” Visit http://rhhsband.wixsite.com/boosters/future-hawks, scroll down, find your instrument under the heading “Future Hawks Sheet Music,” and click on the arrow next to it. (Percussionists may choose snare drum or bass drum - whichever is most appropriate for your level of playing.) You should see one page of music to print, practice, and bring to the performance. Please note the 1st and 2nd endings (the repeat goes back to measure 11). Also, be aware that this piece goes very fast. Start practicing nice and slow, but strive to play it at 120 beats per minute by performance day. Of course, if you have some difficulty, DO NOT worry - just do what you can do!

Percussionists should bring drum sticks, but no need to worry about an instrument - we have plenty of drums.
